The warm turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef offer a unique underwater experience for snorkellers and divers. Enjoy snorkelling on your own from the shore in front of Orpheus and Lizard Island resort or another location accessibly using the complimentary motorised dinghy’s offered by both properties, or joining a guided snorkelling trip with a resort host (complimentary at Orpheus). Many beautiful coral reefs surround both Orpheus and Lizard Island, with many species of reef corals and fish waiting to be discovered. Orpheus features a protected Giant Clam garden right in the bay and is a must do experience.
