The Kings Canyon Rim Walk is one of outback Australia's best day walks and a must-do hike while visiting the Red Centre

1Overview
Overview

Located in Watarrkah National Park, Kings Canyon is understood to be 440 million years in the making, and the canyon walls rise 270 metres above sea level. Discover the area on foot and take in a bird's eye view of the canyon walls and valley below. We recommend taking the extension walk option to visit the Garden of Eden to enjoy the incredible bird life and calm water on the valley floor. This moderately challenging self-guided walk takes approximately three to four hours and suits any itinerary travelling from Uluru to Alice Springs. Enquire about private guided options.
