Commences and concludes in Adelaide, South Australia
Your private guide and drive will meet you this morning and transfer you from Adelaide to the tip of the Flinders Peninsula near Cape Jervis. You will follow the Heysen Trail along some of the prettiest southern sections of the 1200 km trail, taking in vibrant green hills, rocky headlands and turquoise bays. The Deep Creek Conservation Park is included on todau’s walk, where the wildlife is abundant so you're sure to see a kangaroo or two over the course of the day. Your guide will look after you with a fresh lunch on the trail, and you'll arrive to Naiko Retreat in time for a glass of wine and cheese platter on your clifftop balcony. A simply pre-made dinner and dessert along with wine is included to enjoy at the retreat warmed by the fire tonight.

This morning wake to ocean views and enjoy breakfast on your balcony as you prepare for another day on this stunning section of South Australian coastline. Your guide and driver will meet you mid-morning for today’s 5-6 hour, 11 km hike from Newland Head to Waitpinga following the Heysen Trail along dramatic coastal clifftops. This is considered one of the Fleurieu Peninsula’s best day walks, offering panoramic views up and down the coastline and over stunning Waitpinga beach. A freshly prepared lunch will again be enjoyed on the trail today, before you return to your luxury retreat. A soak in the incredible Naiko bath with a view will help ease any sore muscles, and there is time to relax in the lounge and take in the wild ocean views. Another delicious dinner with dessert is in your kitchen to enjoy tonight.

Take your time enjoying breakfast at Naiko Retreat this morning, and if you are up for it there’s time for a walk to Blowhole Beach or around the farm before departing late morning. Your driver will whisk you back towards Adelaide stopping in McLaren Vale wine region for lunch on the way. Enjoy a two course lunch at D’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant overlooking the vines at the iconic D’Arenberg Cube. After lunch entry to the top floor tasting room is included so you can sample some local wines before continuing to Sequoia. On arrival you’ll find a bottle of sparkling in your luxury suite, perfect to enjoy on your balcony with views over the Adelaide Hills. This afternoon you may like to join a hosted tasting experience or short bush walk with the Sequoia team, or just relax in your suite or visit the private lounge or pool area. Tonight is a free evening to dine in-suite, at the casual bar or at award-winning Hardy’s Verandah Restaurant (reservations recommended).

Enjoy breakfast at Sequoia, and a relaxing morning at the retreat or joining a short bushwalk or visit to the Botanic Gardens. Your driver will collect you late morning for your exclusive Penfolds Magill Estate experience today. On arrival explore the vineyards and underground cellars on a private journey through the Penfolds estate. After discovering the history of Penfolds you’ll enjoy an exclusive selection of Penfolds’ most coveted wines in a private hosted tasting, including the flagship Penfolds Grange. After, enjoy a three course lunch with wine matches at Magill Estate Restaurant. Your comprehensive Penfolds visit will no doubt have you making a purchase to take home as a reminder of your experience, before your driver transfers you back to Sequoia. Enjoy some time to relax this afternoon before canapes and sunset drinks in the lounge before dinner.
