You’ll be collected from Brisbane hotel or the airport mid-morning for your transfer to Queensland’s Scenic Rim. On arrival at Spicers Peak Lodge, enjoy a light lunch on the terrace before settling into your beautiful suite. This afternoon you have two options – enjoy a guided walk to the Plateau Rim spotting wallabies and other wildlife, or enjoy a slower paced start with a short stroll to the hilltop campfire for sunset drinks and canapes by a crackling fire as local wildlife become active at dusk. Later you’ll sit down to a four-course dinner with paired wines or your own selection.

Enjoy a gourmet breakfast cooked to order this morning, before setting off on your guided mountain walk. Your expert guide will lead you through Gondwana rainforest up to a sunny ridgeline on Mt Cordeaux before continuing to Bare Rock for views over the mountain escarpment. Enjoy a packed lunch on the mountain before returning to Spicers Peak mid afternoon. Later you’re invited to join the lodge hosts on a short stroll through the lodge with a glass of bubbles in hand to learn more about the lodge architecture and materials used along with the local artwork on display. Tonight is another locally inspired four-course dinner with wines.

Sleep in this morning and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge. Mid-morning after check-out, your driver guide will collect you for a 2.5 hour drive to Springbrook National Park, where you’ll discover the breathtaking Natural Bridge and Twin Falls on a two hour circuit walk. After your walk relax with views of the rainforest as you enjoy lunch. After exploring more stunning views in Springbrook National Park, it’s just a 1.5 hour drive to your accommodation for the next three nights, the Byron at Byron Resort. Enjoy a free evening to relax in your luxury villa, and dine at the wonderful onsite restaurant.

Enjoy breakfast at the resort restaurant, and a free day to relax by the stunning pool and discover the short rainforest, creek and beach walks accessible from the property. The boardwalk through the rainforest is a must, and if you fancy some beach time, Tallow beach is only a short walk from your suite. It’s a free evening tonight and you may like to venture into Byron Bay town centre for dinner at one of the many great local restaurants. Return dinner transfers can be arranged in advance, or if you want to see how the day unfolds, you may like to use a taxi or Uber tonight.
After breakfast this morning, your local guide will meet you for a day exploring the Hinterland. First stop today is The Farm, which is a rural farm just outside Byron which houses a top restaurant and other local artisan producers. Enjoy freshly baked pastries and a coffee from the Bread Society as you wander the farm and learn about the local produce. From here you’ll continue to Nightcap National Park arriving at Minyon Falls late morning. Your guide will lead you on a 7.5 km (4 hour) hike which descends to a creek at the base of Minyon Falls where you can swim, before climbing back up the other side of the rainforest trail. Enjoy a packed lunch in the rainforest, and return late afternoon to the resort. For flexibility, tonight is another free evening to relax in your villa, dine at the Byron at Byron Restaurant, or head into town (recommendations are included with your detailed itinerary).

This morning offers one last chance for a rainforest stroll or dip in the pool after breakfast, before your driver collects you mid-morning for your transfer to the Gold Coast or Brisbane (additional cost applies).
